Two-Photon Polymerization (TPP)

High-Precision Nanoscale 3D Microstructure Fabrication Technology

Two-Photon Polymerization (TPP) is a micro-nano 3D printing process based on nonlinear optical effects. By initiating localized polymerization reactions in photosensitive resin, TPP enables the fabrication of arbitrary 3D structures with sub-micron precision. It is one of the core technologies that breaks the limitations of traditional photolithography.

Unlike traditional layer-by-layer exposure methods, Two-Photon Polymerization (TPP) focuses two near-infrared photons to initiate polymerization exclusively at the focal point. This enables a spatial resolution below 100 nm and supports the direct fabrication of complex curved surfaces, making it an ideal solution for manufacturing high-precision microscale devices.

Key Features

Sub-micron Fabrication Resolution

Arbitrary 3D Structure Control

Compatible with Various Photosensitive Materials

Enables 3D Structure Fabrication Without Multi-step Exposure

Application Scenarios

Biomedical Scaffolds

Optical Functional Structures

MEMS Devices (Micro-Electro-Mechanical Systems)

Planar Projection

Geometry Precision Control Assisted by 2D Projection Technology

Plane Projection is our proprietary 2D-assisted projection technique used in the optical printing process. This technology enables virtual planar planning and error correction before actual fabrication, significantly improving geometric alignment accuracy and overall consistency of printed structures.

By introducing reference projections of the XY plane into both modeling software and print control, the system enables precise Z-axis layer positioning during fabrication.
Plane Projection is particularly well-suited for multi-step printing, heterogeneous structure integration, and multi-material collaborative fabrication scenarios.
